About

The purpose of this blog

Following the eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull, an  Icelandic volcano, in 2010, air traffic was affected for several days and affected hundreds of thousands of people by an ash cloud over European skies. The situation at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi Nuclear power plant has yielded a similar situation where the citizenry of many different countries want to know about  the potential impact of plumes of radiological releases.

In this new era of government or citizen-centered sensor networks, we believe that it becomes important for people to not just gather data but also to make sense of them. In particular, it is important to mesh the prediction of different computer simulations and actual ground/aerial measurements. The eventual expectation is for models to provide adequate predictive capabilities so that accurate decision making can be done by all. This blog was set up to aggregate information related to the release and transport of different particulates in the air.

最近は福島厳罰もどんな国からでも色んな人が結果が知りたいです。私達は、そのためこのブログで見つける見聞を集めたいです。尺度もシミュレーションも。
