Following the eruption of the Icelandic volcano in 2010, air traffic was affected for several days and affected hundred of thousands of people by an ash cloud over European skies. The situation at Fukushima yields a similar situation where the citizenry of many different countries want to know the potential impact of radiological releases. We set up this blog to aggregate all information related to the release and transport of different particulates in the air. In particular, we are interested in posting not just computer simulations but also actual sensor readings so that accurate decision making can be done by all.
